SPECIAL EVENTS

The definition of nurture is to care for and encourage the growth or development of someone or something.

Because the church is the Body of Christ, we believe we can best grow when we care for and encourage one another in Christian fellowship. The Nurture Committee organizes special events throughout the year to help members know each other more, and to have fun in the process!

How do I get involved?

The most frequent gathering you can join is the Sunday Breakfast Table, which is held at 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall each week before Sunday School.

Share Wednesday Night Dinner each week at 5:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center followed by Bible Study classes for all ages. Be sure to reserve your spot!

Each month we also hold our Sunday Fellowship Luncheons, a potluck lunch every fourth Sunday. Share a meal and nurture your friendships here at Loganville First United Methodist Church!

Don’t miss some of our bigger, themed events that happen throughout the year, including:

  • Spring Fling Dinner
  • Lemonade on the Lawn
  • Ice Cream & Games Social
  • Annual Holiday Dinner

The committee also nurtures church members with special, surprise messages of encouragement to members throughout the year.
